Clean options flow: the full OPRA tape, stitched into orders

By Faizan Ahmad. Updated .

Tradytics' options flow is the full OPRA tape, read live and cleaned: fills stitched back into the orders they came from, each tagged bought or sold against the quote, the noise filtered out. About 58,000 orders a session; 19.96 million since March 31, 2025.

Tradytics options flow for the November 4, 2026 session: net, bullish and bearish premium, and every order with its side, size, open interest and implied volatility

Every trade on every US options exchange arrives about a second after it prints, and a sweep across exchanges, a block or a split shows as the one order it was. On November 3, 2026 the tape carried 9.8 million prints; Tradytics turned them into 49,236 orders. A normal session covers about 1,150 underlyings.

What cleaning does

On the raw tapeOn Tradytics
A sweep across 12 exchanges is 12 printsOne order, marked sweep, with its total size and premium
A print has a price, no sideBought at or above the ask, sold at or below the bid, or between, from the quote at that second
Spread legs look like separate betsMarked as legs of a spread or multi-leg order
Odd lots and tiny fills fill the screenFiltered out, so the feed is orders worth reading
No contextOpen interest, the day's volume, implied volatility, delta, and earnings or ex-dividend dates the contract spans

What you do with it

A real session

On November 5, 2026, the day NVDA fell 8.5%, two 1,500-contract NVDA put blocks printed at 2:07 PM: $3.86 million in December 2028 $160 puts and $2.99 million in January 2028 $160 puts, both sold at the bid as legs of a spread. On a raw feed they are two big put prints. On Tradytics they read as what they were: sold puts in a spread, not a bet on a crash.

Common questions

Is Tradytics options flow the full tape?

Yes. Tradytics reads every trade on every US options exchange from OPRA, live, and stitches the fills into orders: about 58,000 a session across about 1,150 underlyings.

How does Tradytics know if an option was bought or sold?

From the fill price against the bid and ask at that second: at or above the ask is bought, at or below the bid is sold, anything between is marked as between.

How much options flow history does Tradytics have?

Every session since March 31, 2025: 19.96 million orders over 404 sessions, searchable in the app and in the API.

Why is cleaned flow better than raw flow?

Because a raw feed counts fills, not decisions. A single sweep shows up as a dozen prints with no side; cleaned flow shows the one order, who took it and what else it was part of.
