Tradytics vs TradingView
By Faizan Ahmad. Updated .
TradingView and Tradytics do different jobs and are often used together. TradingView is the charting platform: up to 16 charts per tab, more than 100,000 community indicators, global markets and broker trading, free on Basic or from $14.95 a month as of October 2026, but it has no native options flow, dark pool prints or dealer gamma. Tradytics is where you see the options and dark pool money: live options flow, dark pool prints and levels, gamma, research and an AI analyst, from $39 a month on Live or free with yesterday's session. Keep TradingView if charts are your workspace and add Tradytics for the flow; if four charts at once is enough for you, Tradytics' own charts may be all you need.
How do Tradytics and TradingView compare?
TradingView answers "what is price doing?" across almost every market in the world. Tradytics answers "where is the money going?" in US stocks and options: who is buying calls or puts, where big blocks traded off exchange, and where dealer hedging may push or hold price.

Where TradingView wins
- Charting. Up to 16 charts per tab, more than 100,000 community indicators and Pine Script for writing your own. Tradytics' charts do the basics well (drawing tools, indicators, up to four at once) but TradingView is the reference.
- Global coverage. More than 3.5 million instruments across world markets. Tradytics covers US stocks and ETFs.
- Alerts. 20 to 1,000 price alerts depending on plan, with webhooks.
- Trading from the chart. Up to 3 broker connections through Plaid, and trading through selected brokers. Tradytics links brokers read-only, for tracking.
- Apps and community. Web, desktop and mobile apps, plus a large social network of shared ideas.
- A cheaper start, and a cheaper MCP server. Basic is free for good, Essential is $14.95 a month, and TradingView's MCP server (beta) comes with Essential. Tradytics' MCP server is on Pro ($69).
Where Tradytics wins
- Options flow. Every large print from OPRA, live to the second on Live and Pro, with the side (bought at the ask or sold at the bid), size against open interest, sweeps and blocks, and an Opening tag. TradingView doesn't list options flow; it has an options strategy builder.
- Dark pool prints and levels. About 12,000 off-exchange and block prints a session, shown within about 15 minutes of their report, and levels where the most dark pool dollars traded over 10 sessions. Not listed on TradingView.
- Dealer gamma. Gamma by strike with the call wall, put wall and gamma flip, on every plan. TradingView doesn't have it natively.
- An AI analyst that pulls the data. Ask "Where are SPY's gamma walls?" or "What is the options flow saying on NVDA?" and it fetches flow, dark pool prints, gamma, prices and news itself, then answers in plain words with cards and tables. TradingView's AI features are screener requests.
- Options research per stock. Net flow, bets by strike and expiry, largest orders, expected move, implied volatility and open interest with max pain on one page per ticker.
- Portfolio factors. On Live and Pro, see whether your return beat the S&P 500 because of skill or because of market exposure.
Can you use TradingView and Tradytics together?
Yes. The simple split: chart on TradingView, check the money on Tradytics, and carry the key levels across. A real example shows how.
On October 30, 2026, SPY closed at $757.12. Over the prior 10 sessions, its biggest dark pool level sat at $769.48, with $20.78B traded there in 155 prints, more than three times SPY's dark pool and block total on a usual day ($6.37B). The next level was $763.73 ($8.37B in 64 prints), and the only one of its five biggest levels below price was $755.53 ($3.55B in 32 prints). A TradingView chart shows where price went; Tradytics shows where the size traded. Draw $769.48 and $755.53 on your TradingView chart and you have both. Here's more on what dark pool levels are and whether they act as support.
The same evening shows why Tradytics treats dark pools as levels rather than a ticker tape: a $2.84B SPY print reported at 4:28 PM ET sat at the prior day's close, a late, previously agreed trade. Tradytics shows prints within about 15 minutes of their report; the full story is in is dark pool data real time?

Who should choose which
Choose TradingView alone if:
- You trade from charts, write or use custom indicators, or trade markets outside US stocks.
- You want to place trades from the chart through a connected broker.
- You don't use options flow or dark pool data.
Choose Tradytics alone if:
- You trade US stocks and options and four charts with drawing tools and indicators is enough.
- Options flow, dark pool levels and gamma are your main inputs.
- You want an AI analyst that reads that data for you, or your portfolio's factors.
Use both if you're a chart trader who also trades options. TradingView Essential ($14.95) plus Tradytics Live ($39) is $53.95 a month at list prices as of October 2026, or $39 if you stay on TradingView's free Basic plan. To see how other flow tools compare, read the best options flow apps in 2026.
Common questions
Does TradingView have options flow?
Not natively, as of October 2026. TradingView has an options strategy builder (3 to 25 saved strategies by plan) but doesn't list an options flow feed. Tradytics shows options flow live to the second on Live and Pro.
Does TradingView show dark pool data?
Dark pool prints aren't listed among TradingView's features. Tradytics shows them within about 15 minutes of their report, with levels built from 10 sessions.
Can Tradytics replace TradingView?
For a US stock and options trader who needs up to four charts with drawing tools and indicators, it can. For heavy charting, Pine Script, global markets or trading from the chart, keep TradingView. The Tradytics charts guide shows what's there.
Do both have an MCP server?
Yes. TradingView's (beta, on Essential and up) gives AI assistants market data, screeners, news, watchlists and price alerts, with no trading. Tradytics' (on Pro) gives Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor options flow, dark pool prints, prices, research, the scanner and AI trade signals; see how to use Tradytics data in ChatGPT and Claude.
How much does it cost to use both?
$53.95 a month for TradingView Essential plus Tradytics Live at list prices as of October 2026, or $39 with TradingView's free plan. Tradytics' Free plan also works alongside TradingView if yesterday's session is enough.
