Is Tradytics worth it?
By Faizan Ahmad. Updated .
Tradytics is worth it if you trade options or stocks and would otherwise pay for separate flow, dark pool, charting and screening tools: Live costs $39 a month ($299 a year) for options flow and dark pool prints live, plus charts, research, a 120-signal scanner, dealer gamma and 20 AI analyst questions a day. It is not worth paying for if yesterday's data is enough for you, because the Free plan gives you every page and tool on yesterday's session for $0. Start on Free, and pay only when you need today's flow as it happens.
Who gets the most out of Tradytics?
| If you... | Plan that fits | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Trade options during the day off what the flow is doing | Live, $39 a month | Options flow live, to the second, and dark pool prints within about 15 minutes of their report |
| Swing trade and plan after the close | Free | Yesterday's session covers flow, dark pool levels and gamma for next-day planning |
| Want an AI to read the flow for you all day | Pro, $69 a month | Unlimited AI questions instead of 20 a day |
| Want trade ideas the moment they open | Pro | Free and Live see AI trade ideas the next day |
| Want the data in your own code or in ChatGPT and Claude | Pro | API and MCP server, 50,000 calls a day |
| Want to know if your returns are skill or just the market | Live or Pro | Portfolio factors and versus |
Who should skip Tradytics?
- People who don't trade options or individual stocks. Most of the app is built around options flow and dark pool prints.
- People who only want charts. A charting tool on its own will do.
- People looking for a signal that wins on its own. Flow is context, not a signal: a big print can be a hedge, a spread or someone closing a position, and no tool knows for sure. If you want a balanced take, read does following unusual options activity work? and is paying for options flow worth it?
What does Tradytics replace, and what does it cost by comparison?
Many traders run a charting tool, a flow tool and a screener side by side. At list prices checked October 29, 2026, TradingView Plus ($34.95 a month), Unusual Whales Retail Basic ($50 a month) and Finviz Elite ($39.50 a month) add up to $124.45 a month. Tradytics Live puts options flow, dark pool prints, charts with drawing tools and indicators, and a 120-signal scanner in one app for $39 a month.
That doesn't mean it matches every feature of all three. If you rely on a specific indicator, screener filter or alert, check that Tradytics has it, ideally on the Free plan first. Prices across the market are laid out in options flow pricing compared, and the closest head-to-head is Tradytics vs Unusual Whales.
What are you actually paying for?
Two things: time and a second opinion.
Time. On October 30, 2026, the session's biggest block was an SPX December 18 7000 call: 5,000 contracts, $348.68M in premium, at 10:42 AM ET. On Live or Pro you saw it within the second; on Free you see it the next day. If you trade the same day, that gap is the whole point of paying. If you hold for weeks, it matters much less.
A second opinion. The hardest part of flow is telling a fresh bet from a hedge or a spread. Asked about NVDA's flow from that session, the AI analyst flagged that the biggest print, $114M in November 20 $240 puts, printed at the mid and was marked as a spread, so it shouldn't be read as a clean bearish bet. That is the kind of read most flow tools leave to you. See what you can ask the AI analyst.

What Tradytics can't do
- It can't tell you for certain whether a trade opened or closed a position, or whether it was a hedge. It gives you the clues (side, size against open interest, tags like Opening and Spread) and the AI analyst's read.
- Dark pool prints aren't real time. They are after-the-fact reports by nature, and Tradytics shows them within about 15 minutes of their report. They are for levels built over days, not for timing an entry to the second.
- AI answers can be wrong. The analyst shows its steps and the data it pulled, so check the numbers before you act.
Common questions
Is Pro worth $30 more than Live?
Only if you'd use one of the three things Pro adds: unlimited AI questions (Live gets 20 a day), AI trade ideas as they open, or the API and MCP server. Otherwise Live has the same live data.
Is the yearly plan worth it?
Yearly works out to about 4 months free: $299 instead of $468 for Live, $499 instead of $828 for Pro. It makes sense if you'll trade most of the year.
Can I try Tradytics before paying?
Yes, on the Free plan. There is no trial, but Free costs $0, needs no card and doesn't expire.
Is Tradytics cheaper than Unusual Whales?
Tradytics Live is $39 a month. Unusual Whales Retail Basic was $50 a month at list price as of October 2026.
