Cheddar Flow vs Quant Data: which is better?

By Faizan Ahmad. Updated .

For most traders, Quant Data is the better value: $74.99 a month, or $62.50 a month billed yearly (as of October 2026), covers real-time options flow, dark pool prints, the deepest dealer-exposure tools at its price (gamma, delta, vanna and charm exposure), an API with MCP, and iOS and Android apps, with a 7-day trial on both plans. Cheddar Flow is the better pick if you want a simpler, flow-first screen with AI-scanned alerts. Its Standard plan is $85 a month, and dark pool prints and gamma levels need Pro at $99 a month or $75 a month billed yearly.

Where Cheddar Flow wins

On the dark pool point, keep expectations in check. FINRA requires off-exchange trades to be reported within 10 seconds and marks later reports as late, and the biggest prints are often negotiated blocks reported well after they were agreed. Real time means the report reaches you fast, not that the trade just happened.

Where Quant Data wins

What dealer exposure tools actually show

Gamma exposure (GEX) estimates how much stock dealers must buy or sell to stay hedged as price moves. When total gamma is positive, dealers trade against the move, which tends to dampen it. When it is negative, they trade with the move, which tends to amplify it. Tools also mark the call wall and put wall (the strikes where call and put gamma are heaviest) and the gamma flip, where total gamma changes sign.

On October 30, 2026, SPY's total dealer gamma was -$335.55M, negative. Its call wall was $810, its put wall $758 and its gamma flip $738.08, and SPY closed at $757.12, just under the put wall. QQQ the same day had positive total gamma of $180.48M, with a call wall at $695 and a put wall at $675. Two index ETFs, opposite dealer setups on the same day: that is the kind of read both tools give you, Quant Data in far more detail. Keep in mind that every GEX number is an estimate built from open interest and assumptions about which side dealers are on. Our guide to gamma exposure explains the math and its limits, and the best GEX tools compares the specialists.

A third option: Tradytics

Tradytics puts live options flow, dark pool prints, dealer gamma and research on every US stock and ETF in one web app, with a 120-signal scanner, charts, an options strategy builder, portfolio tools and an AI analyst. Live is $39 a month or $299 a year, with OPRA flow live to the second and 20 AI questions a day. Pro is $69 a month or $499 a year and adds unlimited AI questions and an API (50,000 calls a day) with an MCP server. The Free plan shows every page on yesterday's session, with no card.

Dealer gamma on Tradytics is shown per strike with the call wall, put wall, gamma flip and total gamma, and you can ask the AI analyst "Where are SPY's gamma walls?" and get the levels back with a chart. Dark pool prints arrive within about 15 minutes of their report, with levels built from 10 sessions of prints.

Where it falls short: Tradytics shows gamma, not delta, vanna and charm, so Quant Data goes deeper on exposure, and Tradytics has no native phone app or paid-plan trial. See Tradytics vs Quant Data and Tradytics vs Cheddar Flow for the details.
