Tradytics vs TrendSpider
By Faizan Ahmad. Updated .
Pick TrendSpider if you trade from charts and want the work automated: auto trendlines and patterns, multi-timeframe scans, backtesting, no-code bots and trading through more than 30 brokers, from $89 a month, or $54 a month billed yearly, at standard prices as of October 2026. Pick Tradytics if options money is your edge: live options flow, dark pool prints, dealer gamma, research and an AI analyst, for $39 a month on Live or $69 on Pro with unlimited AI questions. The two overlap more than most (both have options flow, charts and an AI assistant), so the choice usually comes down to whether you trade from chart automation or from options and dark pool data.

TrendSpider is automated technical analysis software that also carries options flow and the Sidekick AI assistant. Tradytics is an options and market-data app (flow, dark pools, gamma, research, a scanner) with charts and an AI analyst that pulls all of it together.

Where TrendSpider wins
- Automation. Automated trendlines and pattern recognition, backtesting, no-code trading bots and scheduled scans in one tool. Tradytics' charts give you drawing tools and indicators; TrendSpider does much more of the chart work for you.
- Scans on your schedule. Multi-timeframe, strategy-based and scheduled scans. Tradytics' scanner updates after the close (4:05, 6:05 and 8:10 PM ET).
- Trading from the platform. More than 30 brokerages and crypto exchanges through the SignalStack trading widget. Tradytics links brokers read-only, for tracking.
- Alerts and bots. From 100 to more than 400 alerts depending on plan, plus cloud bots.
- Native apps. iOS and Android apps, with reduced features compared with the web. Tradytics is a web app that works in your phone's browser.
- Coaching. Plans include 1-on-1 training sessions each year.
Where Tradytics wins
- Price. Live flow on Tradytics is $39 a month or $299 a year. TrendSpider starts at $89 a month, or $54 a month billed yearly, at standard prices.
- A real free plan, and no trial fee. Tradytics Free shows every page and tool on yesterday's session, with no card. TrendSpider has no free platform plan, and its 14-day trial costs $19 to $49.
- Dark pools and gamma. Dark pool prints within about 15 minutes of their report, levels from 10 sessions, and dealer gamma by strike with the call wall, put wall and gamma flip. Gamma isn't listed by TrendSpider, and dark pools aren't on its pricing page.
- More AI for the money. 20 AI questions a day on Live and unlimited on Pro ($69), against TrendSpider's 25 Sidekick messages a month included and $49 to $349 a month for more. The Tradytics analyst decides what data it needs and pulls flow, dark pool prints, gamma, prices, research and news itself.
- Options research per stock. Net flow, calls and puts bought vs sold, bets by strike and expiry, largest orders, expected move, implied volatility and open interest with max pain on one page per ticker.
- Portfolio and data access. Factors and versus for your own portfolio on Live and Pro, and an API plus MCP server on Pro for Claude, ChatGPT and your own code.
What the AI analyst answers: a real example
Using the October 30, 2026 session's data, the Tradytics AI analyst was asked "Where are SPY's gamma walls?" It pulled dealer gamma itself and answered with the put wall ($758), the call wall ($810), the gamma flip ($738.08) and total gamma of -$335.55M, with a gamma-by-strike chart. Negative total gamma means dealers trade with the move, which tends to make swings bigger. SPY fell 1.59% that day to $757.12, just under the put wall.
A chart shows you the drop. The gamma read explains why moves that day could run further than usual, and where the walls sat. That's the kind of question Tradytics is built for, and it pairs with the flow: the same session's market-wide options premium leaned bearish, at -$86.53M net. Who should choose which
Choose TrendSpider if:
- You trade technical setups and want trendlines, patterns and scans done for you.
- You backtest ideas or want bots to run them through your broker.
- You want a native phone app and 1-on-1 training.
Choose Tradytics if:
- You trade options and want live flow with dark pool levels and gamma beside it.
- You want an AI analyst you can ask all day without buying message packs.
- You want to start free and pay $39 a month when you need live data.
Since both carry options flow, you'll usually want one, not both. If you want TrendSpider's automation and Tradytics' dark pools, gamma and AI, both together run $128 a month at standard monthly prices as of October 2026 ($89 plus $39).
