Is Cheddar Flow worth it?

By Faizan Ahmad. Updated .

Cheddar Flow is worth it if you want a clean, flow-first feed and will pay yearly: Pro at $75 a month billed yearly bundles real-time options flow, dark pool prints and gamma levels. At $85 a month for the flow-only Standard plan, or $99 for Pro billed monthly, it costs more than rivals that include more, such as Unusual Whales ($50 a month, with a free tier) and Quant Data ($74.99 with dark pool, deep GEX tools and an API), as of October 2026. There is no free plan and no refunds, so use the 7-day Standard trial first, knowing it doesn't cover dark pool or gamma.

What do you get for the money?

Prices checked October 31, 2026. Cheddar Flow's site blocks automated checks, so these come from its pricing page as archived on October 9, 2026.

Cheddar says its dark pool data is real time, apart from "signature prints", which arrive 24 hours later. There is a Discord community, and Discord bots are sold separately. Cheddar doesn't list an API, an MCP server or broker linking. All payments are non-refundable, with no prorated refunds, and the trial applies to Standard only.

Who is Cheddar Flow worth it for?

Who should skip it?

The question no flow tool answers for you

Whatever you pay, the tape shows trades, not intentions. On October 30, 2026 at 4:16 PM ET, 30,750 QQQ June 17, 2027 $680 puts traded for $123.40M, against open interest of 7,889, with QQQ at $691.11. Minutes later, three more prints of 4,612 of the same puts followed, at $18.51M each.

A big put buyer looks bearish. But this trade has the shape of a portfolio hedge: very large, dated more than seven months out, on an index ETF, with a strike just below the price. If it is a hedge, the buyer is probably long stocks and protecting them, not betting on a crash. No tool can confirm that from the tape alone, which is why so many flow alerts lead nowhere. Our guides on how to tell if a big options trade is a hedge and whether following unusual options activity works cover what to check.

The verdict

Cheddar Flow is a good fit for traders who value a focused screen and will pay $75 a month yearly for Pro. Billed monthly, or on Standard without dark pool and gamma, it is hard to justify against tools that include more for less. With no refunds, use the trial, and test a free plan elsewhere for the features the trial leaves out.

Common questions

Does Cheddar Flow have a free trial?

Yes, one 7-day free trial on the Standard plan. Pro, which adds dark pool prints and gamma, has no trial.

Does Cheddar Flow have a free plan?

No. Unusual Whales (flow 2 trading days late) and Tradytics (yesterday's session) both have free plans.

Can I get a refund from Cheddar Flow?

No. Cheddar Flow says all payments are non-refundable and it does not offer prorated refunds.

Is Cheddar Flow's dark pool data real time?

Cheddar says yes, on Pro and up, except "signature prints", which arrive 24 hours later. Off-exchange trades must be reported within 10 seconds, but the biggest prints are often reported late anyway, so dark pool data is best read as levels.
